- Wool pads are mostly used for light cutting to heaving cutting.
- For polishing and finishing it’s best to use Foam buffing pads which have been in great demand from some years because they are much easier to use. They too can be used for cutting, polishing and finishing.
- The foam pads are graded in PPI or Pores per Square Inch. They usually range between 40 -100 PPI. The higher the grade, softer is the foam
- For judging the aggressiveness, the foam can be measured from its density and compression. The aggressive one will generally have the PPI between 40 and 50.
