PPS Formula Repels Attack of the Kamikaze Fish Flies!
A
typical paint problem for car dealerships this summer
was fish flies. They would swarm to the lights on
the dealership lots and throughout the late night
hours the flies would die and land on the cars. By
morning, after the dew had settled, the bug remains
would have done enough damage to the clear coat to
warrant buffing.
Following
extensive research and product testing by dealerships,
only PPS was strong enough to solve the problem and
protect the painted surfaces. The Paint Protection
was applied on all the vehicles in a dealership inventory,
thus approximately 40 car's are saved, and insurance
claims halted.
Strict
environmental regulations have changed the quality
of paint on vehicles today, making the car paint much
less durable and more vulnerable to harsh conditions
and resulting in clear coat breakdown. By offering
the customer the Polarized Protection System (PPS),
dealers are saving the customer and the dealership
a substantial amount of money that would otherwise
be spent if the vehicle's paint wasn't protected.
PPS protects painted surfaces from Acid Rain, Acid
Snow, Bugs, and Industrial Fallout, to name only a
few.
Note: To determine the durability of Colour Shield's PPS formula it was subjected to an abrasion test, the result showing no detectable change in the coated panels after 150 passes.
