Paint Contaminant Removal – This unique paint surface cleaning material (also known as ‘Detailing Clay Bar Kit’) will deep clean & smooth the paint finish. Having been designed to remove embedded contamination with ease; therefore will remove industrial fallout, acid rain deposits, paint over spray, rail dust, brake dust, tree sap, bug residue, asphalt. As well as many other environmental fall-out that adhere to the paint finish.

Subsequently this is safe to use on all painted surfaces including clear coats, it will also work on glass, chrome, plastic, fiber-glass & gel-coat surfaces. By smoothing and deep cleaning the paint finish, therefore leaving it prepared for the Paint Protection Application.

What is a Clay Bar

The clay bar will remove a lot of oxidization and 75% of the time eliminates the need for harsh buffing compound; or skillful use of fast spinning machine next to your prized vehicle. The simple to use and reshape clay bar is much like plasticine or blue tack for example. Wiping it over the oxidized paint with the slippery lubricant, is much like an exchange. Hereafter the dirt imparts (sinks) into the Clay Bar material which leaves your paint as smooth as glass, then periodically reshape to offer a nice clean surface to the area which is to be cleaned.

In addition we have found that the clay bar also works on glass, though always use a new one for this purpose; as well as plexiglass most plastics. Equally it is very good for cleaning brake dust on your rims for cars and motorcycles as well. For older vehicle or vessel oxidization such as on gel coat should you wish to apply the boat paint protection, then regularly wash and reshape your clay bar and use lot’s of lubricant to keep the clay from binding.
